Congress has left its mark
After a successful week of lectures, events and expos, Ryerson came out on top as host of the 86th annual Congress of the Humanities and Social Sciences, the largest congress ever with a record attendance of more than 10,000 delegates. Extensive programming showcased the diversity of the university and City of Toronto. The legacy of Congress continues with the updating of 28 classrooms and the mobile wayfinding app (Ryerson: Congress 2017 Maps), which is available on iTunes and Google Play. Thanks to the many volunteers and organizers (including 21 Ryerson committees) that helped plan and execute the academic event.
