President Levy speech to Empire Club
Tickets are still available for President Sheldon Levy’s address to the Empire Club of Canada on Wednesday, May 8, 2013 at the Mattamy Athletic Centre at the Gardens. President Levy will be joined by student entrepreneurs in a dynamic presentation to the Empire Club of Canada.
The luncheon event – ‘Young innovators, our future: supporting postsecondary (r)evolution’ -- will feature a panel of young entrepreneurs from Ryerson’s Digital Media Zone joining President Levy in an exploration of the postsecondary (r)evolution, and what is needed for Canada to be among the world’s best.
President Levy and the panel will demonstrate how young innovators are shaping the future of Canada’s economy through their innovation and passion. You will see their ideas in action and hear how we can support their initiative and their drive to help ensure the country’s economic future.
This presentation and luncheon will take place in a unique venue – the recently opened Mattamy Athletic Centre at the Gardens, Ryerson’s new facility on Carlton Street, included in the ESPN list of Top 10 Most Historic Stadiums in North America.
