Ryerson Faculty Conference
This year the faculty conference is a one-day event and will feature an opening plenary, teaching-related workshops, a meet and greet lunch, and a late afternoon reception and poster session.
Our reception and poster session is generously sponsored by The Chang School and it promises to be a very exciting event. It will offer us a chance to spend some time with colleagues, enjoy some beverages, listen to some great jazz music by Birds of a Feather, and learn about some exciting teaching initiatives from faculty presenting posters.
One of the bright spots of teaching at Ryerson University is the diverse student population. There are real opportunities at Ryerson to create a unique teaching environment.
The theme of this year’s conference, “Connect, Engage, Inspire: Strategies and Tools for Today's Classroom,” will provide faculty with an opportunity to share and explore ideas in teaching development, teaching strategies that inspire and utilizing technology inside and outside the classroom to engage our diverse student population.
