Ryerson MBA students meet business and politics with Navdeep Bains
Ryerson MBA is hosting the Speaker Series “Global Issues in International Business” in collaboration with Ryerson’s Distinguished Visiting Professor, the Honourable Navdeep Bains, former Member of Parliament for Mississauga-Brampton South.
The lecture series will not only examine the market conditions for international business but also the social, legal and political non-market environment. It will cover the evolution of international markets in goods, services and finance, and the supranational mechanisms and infrastructures for trade, investment and finance.
Bains describes that the objective of the lecture series is to explore the changing relationships between business, society and government in contemporary Canada and abroad. The lectures will also provide students with an understanding of the growing space for collaborative efforts between industry, government and civic organizations.
In line with Ryerson MBA’s career-focused and integrative approach, Ryerson MBA students will participate in interactive sessions with senior executives from the business, political, legal and social sectors and will gain an appreciation of business/government relations and the significant role it plays in how international business operates.
Organized by the Honourable Navdeep Bains, former Member of Parliament for Mississauga-Brampton South.
