Steve Paikin, an award-winning journalist, author and documentary producer, will share his industry experiences and professional journey with Ted Rogers School of Management students at a special lecture on Thursday, April 11, 3:30 p.m.
As host and senior editor of TVOntario’s flagship program, The Agenda with Steve Paikin, Paikin has shed light on global current affairs with insightful interviews with the country’s political leaders, influencers and experts. His passion for politics has prompted him to pen three books: The Life: The Seductive Call of Politics (Viking Canada, 2001); The Dark Side: The Personal Price of a Political Life (Viking Canada, 2003); and Public Triumph, Private Tragedy: The Double Life of John P. Robarts (Viking Canada, 2005).
Paikin’s lecture is the last talk of the second annual speaker series, “Law, Business, Politics: The Real World”, hosted by Ted Rogers School of Management’s Department of Law and Business in collaboration with Ryerson’s Distinguished Visiting Professor Ralph Lean, senior partner, Cassels Brock & Blackwell LLP.
The series brings leading figures in Canadian business and politics to meet with students in the Law and Business program to talk about their professional journey, their leadership skills and the intersection of law, business and politics.
