What does it mean for companies and governments to be socially responsible in today’s tough economic times? Leaders from the business community, government including the Premier of Ontario, and media will address this issue as part of a special Ryerson MBA student speaker series starting on Thursday, Sept. 12. All lectures will be held from 3:30 to 5 p.m. at Ryerson’s Ted Rogers School of Management, 55 Dundas St. West, 7th floor, room TRS 1-147.
The series is part of a graduate course co-taught by Professor Asher Alkoby, Department of Law and Business, and Ralph Lean, Distinguished Counsel in Residence.

· Amanda Lang, Senior Business Correspondent, CBC News – Oct. 10

· Jordan Banks, Managing Director, Facebook Canada – Nov. 21
The second annual speaker series brings leading figures in Canadian business, government and politics to meet with students in the MBA program to talk about their professional journey, their leadership skills and the intersection of law, business, social responsibility and politics.
