In 1952, Ryerson University’s School of Journalism’s first class, of two students, graduated. Sixty years later, journalism at Ryerson remains at the top of its class, with over 500 undergraduate and 50 graduate students.
The School of Journalism will celebrate its 60th anniversary with Journalism on the Rocks, on Friday, October 4th. The evening reception will recognize and honour the school’s inaugural group of ‘Headliners’, journalism alumni who have made outstanding contributions to their fields.
