Ryerson University to break ground on Student Learning Centre

Ryerson University is breaking ground on the university’s new Student Learning Centre on Wednesday, May 30 at 12:30 following remarks by:
· Sheldon Levy, President and Vice-Chancellor, Ryerson University
· Alan Shepard, Provost and Vice President Academic, Ryerson University
· Julia Hanigsberg, Vice President, Administration and Finance, Ryerson University
· Rodney Diverlus, President, Ryerson Students’ Union, Ryerson University
· Glen Murray, Minister, Training, Colleges and Universities
· Kristyn Wong-Tam, Councillor, City of Toronto
| WHAT: | Ryerson Student Learning Centre ground-breaking ceremony and photo-op |
| WHEN: | Wednesday, May 30, from 12:30 to 1 PM |
| WHERE: | North-east corner of Yonge and Gould Streets |
Please note: The groundbreaking ceremony and photo-op will be held on a construction site, hard hats and safety shoes must be worn. Safety gear will be made available to the media. Please contact Suelan Toye to confirm media attendance and shoe size.
