Stalin Boctor, former dean of Engineering, Architecture and Science, passes away

Stalin Boctor, former dean of Engineering, Architecture and Science passed away on Sept. 4, 2011. Boctor had a long and distinguished career at the university, joining Ryerson in 1971 and serving as chair of the Electrical Engineering Department, associate dean and, from 2002 to 2009, was dean of the Faculty. He was the founding program director of the Computer Networks graduate program.

A funeral service will be held in the chapel of the Visitation Centre on Saturday, Sept. 10 at 11 a.m. at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, 375 Mount Pleasant Road (east gate entrance), Toronto (416-485-5572). Burial will follow at the same location.
