Donna Barnes (RD) has been involved in administrative dietetics in the healthcare sector for over 25 years. Currently, in addition to teaching the FNS course series for the School of Nutrition she also works for Morrison Healthcare (Compass Canada) in a part-time capacity completing special projects at Southlake Regional Health Centre in Newmarket.
Barnes is passionate about exposing the School of Nutrition students to careers outside of the traditional role of dietetics and is advisor to the Student Engagement Program for the school. She is an active board member for the Canadian Association of Foodservice Professionals and is vice president student development for Ryerson University.
