The School of Nutrition has a rich history and offers degree programs focused on nutrition, food, and health from a comprehensive and interdisciplinary perspective. When it comes to nutrition and food, our graduates see the big picture. They understand how family, society and politics affect what people eat. At the same time, they can apply their knowledge to the day-to-day lives of individuals and families, and that is why they are in demand.


Ryerson's Nutrition Team mentored by Yvonne Yuan will be going to the Student Challenge on May 28th 2012.
Congratulations to Maria Vlahek on being this year's winner of the National Gold Plate Award at the recent Canadian Association of Foodservice Professional's Annual Conference
Michelle Kwan, a 3rd year School of Nutrition student, is the winner of the Ontario Home Economics Association Student Media Release Competition.
The Mission:ImPULSEible food development competition started in 2009 as a way to get university and college students interested in using pulses as an ingredient in the development of new food products.
