BELO HORIZONTE, BRAZIL

Food Security Study Tour (C/FNY 400) provides an opportunity to learn about food security policy and programs, and to experience part of that learning by studying the case of Belo Horizonte, Brazil, recipient of the Future Policy Award by the World Future Council.

Participants travel to Belo Horizonte for one week for visits and presentations on the various programs developed by the municipal government as part of Brazil’s Zero Hunger strategy to reduce hunger, malnutrition, and general food insecurity.
