Ryerson Nutrition students have many career oppertunities available to them upon graduation. A few of our graduates share their experiences and career pathways in the short videos below.

Lilisha Burris

Lilisha Burris a Ryerson Alumni who has completed a Nutrition Communication Master’s in Health Sciences as well as a Food Security Certificate. She is a Registered Dietitian who currently works for Eat Right Ontario as a Diabetes Project Specialist. Her current responsibilities include developing resources targeted to cultural groups with diabetes.

Sonia Dudnic Sreedharan

Sonia Dudnic Sreedharan is a Ryerson Alumni who is working in food research and development. She is currently working for Wing’s Food Products as a R&D Technologist and has had a past position as a Food Technician at Renée’s Gourmet Foods. Kathleen Macintosh is the founder and owner of Culinarium located in Toronto. Culinarium is a gourmet food store with a focus on organic, natural and sustainable products sourced from within Ontario.

Vanita Pais

Vanita Pais is an out-patient Dietitian at Sick Kids Hospital in Toronto. She specializes in Diabetes education for recently diagnosed children and teaches patients how to incorporate lifestyle changes brought on by diabetes.
