Special Student Admissions

 

 

 

Within the School of Nutrition a Special Student is either:

  1. Students who are Alumni of Ryerson’s School of Nutrition, OR
  2. Students who have graduated from an accredited Nutrition and Food program & need to upgrade courses, OR       
  3. Students who have been referred by the IDPP program

How to Apply

Each candidate MUST complete Steps 1-3 listed below. Incomplete applications cannot be considered.

     Please Note: If you are a returning Special Student within the last 6 terms (including Spring/Summer)
     you ARE NOT required to resubmit a new application (Step 3); only Steps 1-2 are required.

Use this chart to help you determine whether or not you are eligible for special student status in the School of Nutrition, as well as the type of Academic Assessment that will be required for your application.

B) Email Academic Assessment (Step1)

Complete the Ryerson Application

  • Choose the Special option (SSS) from the program listing; DO NOT choose the Nutrition and Food degree program
  • Cost $80 non-refundable
  • The Supplementary Form is not required
  • Step 2 (a & b) must be completed and an email conformation must be received BEFORE proceeding to Step 3
