* Note that the deadlines listed above do not include requests for reassessment/re-grading, which must be made within 10 days of getting an exam or assignment grade back.
Why are deadlines important?
Ryerson has set deadlines for appeals and other academic and non-academic issues in order to ensure that issues are handled in timely manner. Missing deadlines could result in academic or financial penalties!
Check the following links for important dates for the 2012-2013 year
a) Undergraduate deadlines
b) Chang School deadliness,
c) Graduate School deadlines.
If you have any questions, contact your department, the Ryerson Student Union (RSU) or the Ombuds office.
Please note that requests for re-grading of assignments, tests or exams made during the semester or requests for accommodation or alternative arrangements (i.e. for a missed exam/assignment) must be made within a specific number of working days.
If for some reason beyond your control (for example a medical or family emergency) you are not able to meet a deadline, you should speak to the appropriate person (such as your professor, Chair or Program Director) as soon as possible. In certain circumstances it may be possible to request an extension or make alternative arrangements. You are likely to be asked to provide written documentation to support your request.
REMEMBER it is your responsibility to be aware of and meet all deadlines! |
