Faculty and Staff
The philosophy faculty at Ryerson are experts in a wide range of areas including metaphysics, the philosophy of religion, moral theory, political theory, philosophy of law, the philosophy of language, aesthetics, 19th century philosophy, epistemology, critical thinking, contemporary continental philosophy, philosophy of mind, problems of the self, philosophical psychology, practical ethics, the origins of Canadian philosophy, and 19th century British Idealism. Committed to dynamic undergraduate teaching and cutting edge research, our faculty are leaders in the pursuit of knowledge and student advancement. At present we have 13 full-time faculty members, 2 full-time limited term faculty, and several sessional faculty members.
