Philosophy

Undergraduate Philosophy at Ryerson

The Ryerson Philosophy Department is committed to offering a wide range of Liberal Studies courses that enable students from other disciplines to be exposed to the joys and challenges of philosophical inquiry. Also, students enrolled in the Arts and Contemporary Studies program at Ryerson now have the option of pursuing a specialization in philosophy.  The philosophy option in Arts and Contemporary Studies is functionally equivalent to a philosophy major: it enables students to deepen their knowledge of the various aspects of our philosophical tradition, as well as to enter into higher levels of philosophical inquiry.
