PARTNERSHIPS
Fire Services Memorandum of Understanding
signed by Fire Marshal Bernard Moyle
The partnership between Ryerson University, the
Office of the (Ontario) Fire Marshal and the Ontario Association of
Fire Chiefs has been formalised with the signing of a Memorandum of
Understanding (MOU) that, among other things, provides recognition,
in the form of a Prior Learning Assessment, of Diplomas conferred
by the Ontario Fire College. Bernard Moyle, who retired as Fire Marshal
on 30 November 2006, was tremendously supportive of this partnership
and was very pleased to sign the MOU on 21 November 2006.
