Markus Sharaput is Assistant Professor (LTF) in the Department of Politics and Public Administration.  In addition to a PhD in Political Science from York University, he holds an MA in Political Economy from Carleton University and BA (Hons) in Political Science from York University.  

His teaching and research interests focus on the interaction of institutional dynamics and policy formation, with particular attention to industrial / innovation policy and science and technology policy in Canada.  His recent publications include:
