Dr. Pamela Palmater was named this year's Ryerson Aboriginal Role Model by Ryerson Aboriginal Student Services (RASS). She was recognised at a well attended event at Ryerson's Oakham House on February 17, which was publicised on Facebook by RASS.

Following her talk, Dr. Palmater signed copies of her recently-published book, Indigenous Nationhood: Empowering Grassroots Citizens (Fernwood, 2015).
