Propulsion Research Facility

Welcome to the Propulsion Research Facility, one of several research laboratories in the Department of Aerospace Engineering at Ryerson University. The PRF research team is working towards developing research capabilities with respect to various propulsion systems for aeronautics and space flight applications, including the study of solid-propellant rocket motors (SRMs) and hybrid rocket engines (HREs) at the present time. Some flight vehicle research and development work (flight dynamics, structures, avionics, etc.) is also being undertaken in conjunction with our propulsion studies.
