Biography:

Kathryn Voltan began teaching at Ryerson University in the summer of 2003.  Initially with the Continuing Education Division, she joined the part-time day faculty of BTC later that year.

Kathryn is also employed by the Academic Writing Centre at Woodsworth College, University of Toronto, where she tutors undergraduate students in academic writing and delivers lectures on academic skills.

She taught at Sheridan College from 1992 until the spring of 2003, delivering a variety of courses on written and oral communication, business writing, English and general education.  While at Sheridan she became an early adapter of mobile technology, delivering and developing courses which were shaped for the mobile classroom.

In addition, she has developed and delivered training sessions (business writing, presentation skills, customer service) for the Professional Development Centre, University of Toronto, Sheridan College, and the Badminton and Racquet Club.
