Celebrating excellence

Faculty deserve our recognition and support. The provost therefore leads initiatives that celebrate and develop excellence in teaching at Ryerson, including the creation of faculty awards, which are vital to the university’s goal of educational leadership.

Currently, 12 university-level teaching awards are open to Ryerson faculty. The Learning and Teaching Office organizes and presents the annual honours.

Ryerson Awards Night is held in April each year to recognize excellence in teaching, research and administration.
