Awards

Teaching is an act of scholarship. At Ryerson University, students benefit from instructors who share their knowledge, research findings, and professional experience in creative ways. New ideas and technologies abound at Ryerson. Our greatest teachers use methods and media that illuminate the dynamic complexities of their fields.

Celebrating excellence

Faculty deserve our recognition and support. The Provost therefore leads initiatives that celebrate and develop excellence in teaching at Ryerson, including the creation of faculty awards, which are vital to the University’s goal of educational leadership.

Currently, 12 University-level teaching awards are open to Ryerson faculty. The Learning and Teaching Office organizes and presents the annual honours.
