Psychology Graduate Program (MA, PhD)

Welcome to the Psychology graduate program at Ryerson University, located in the heart of downtown Toronto! The priority of consideration deadline for our program is Friday, December 6, 2013 for possible entry in Fall 2014. Please see our How to Apply webpages for more information.

A pursuit of highest quality is the hallmark of our Psychology graduate program, and we are very proud of our graduate students' contributions to science and discovery. Our MA and PhD Psychology students hold research and external funding awards totalling over 1.3 million for the 2012-2013 academic year, and they enjoy hands-on involvement with leading researchers in newly-built research labs, as well as access to the many excellent research and clinical placement sites that are available in downtown Toronto.

Since our graduate program was launched in 2007, our Department has built a new Research and Training Centre with 28 research laboratories, partnered with St. Michael's Hospital to establish a Clinical Psychology Training Clinic, launched the Institute for Stress and Wellbeing Research (over $1 million committed for research tools and infrastructure) in 2012, and hired 23 new full-time faculty members from across North America and Europe. Our faculty hold several externally-awarded grants from CIHR, Lance Armstrong, NIH, NSERC, SSHRC, and various ministries in the Province of Ontario.
