SOCIAL ANXIETY DISORDER TREATMENT STUDY
Participants Needed!
Researchers in the Department of Psychology at Ryerson University are seeking individuals with Social Anxiety Disorder to participate in a treatment study. The purpose of this study is to compare Cognitive Behavioural Group Therapy and Mindfulness and Acceptance-Based Group Therapy in the treatment of Social Anxiety Disorder.
Do You Experience…
- Extreme fear or anxiety in social situations?
- Do you fear being judged by others?
- Do you worry that you’ll say or do something embarrassing in front of others to humiliate yourself?
- Do you avoid social situations to a degree that limits your activities and disrupts your daily life?
If you are between 18 and 65 years of age, and suffer from social anxiety, you may qualify for this study.
