Fee Payments

Effective June 30, 2015, payments for undergraduate and graduate tuition and residence fees must be made through your financial institution.

Pay Tuition and Residence Fees Online:

If paying from within Canada (and through a Canadian bank account), follow these steps:

  1. Sign up with your bank for online or telephone banking
  2. Add Ryerson University – Tuition and Res Fees as a payee
  3. Your nine-digit Ryerson Number is your account number
  4. Know your deadlines to avoid late payment charges

Please allow 3 business days for your payment to be applied to your Ryerson Tuition & Residence Fee Account.

If paying from outside of Canada, payment methods include:

  • A Canadian bank account using the steps for online or telephone banking (detailed above)
  • Western Union Business Solutions (detailed below)

The most efficient payment process for international students to pay your student fees is through Western Union Business Solutions. This option allows you to pay the Canadian dollar student fees in the currency of your choice.

Step 1: Select Western Union Business Solutions for International Student
*Your bank may charge a fee to use Western Union Business Solutions


Step 2: Process your Payment

  • Enter your personal information and student ID
  • Enter amount of Canadian Dollars to pay
  • Select the payment currency 
    *If your local currency does no appear as an option, please select an alternative currency or CAD option.
  • Finalize transaction


Step 3:

  • Take payment confirmation page to your local bank
  • Local bank will transfer the funds to Western Union Business Solutions
    *Your bank may charge a fee to use Western Union Business Solutions
  • Western Union Business Solutions will send the funds to Ryerson
  • Ryerson will post the Canadian dollar equivalent to your student fee account

Ryerson students can now fund their school fees by converting either Aeroplan® Miles or TD Points through the TD Travel Rewards Program by visiting HigherEdPoints.com.

Anyone can donate their points to an individual student, or directly to Ryerson for students in need.
