Ryerson Student Scholars group (RSS) identifies full-time students who have achieved a CGPA of at least 3.67 and, as long as that average is maintained, students will remain part of the group. We provided information to Student Scholars to become even more engaged with Ryerson, to learn about prestigious awards and scholarships, and to hear about Ryerson Urban Outreach and volunteering opportunities and to provide relevant workshops to help Student Scholars navigate the university.
University is not just about attending classes and achieving high grades, it’s about making a difference in people’s lives. RUO is a student club that encourages volunteering amongst Ryerson students. They recruit student leaders with big ideas who want to take a leadership role in supporting the club and giving back to the community. One of the partners with RUO is Frontier College, a volunteer-based, literacy organization, that helps children, youth and adults strengthen and develop their literacy skills.
