RESIDENCIES

The Ryerson Image Centre has established a professional Residency program, which actively contribute to research publications, workshops, lectures and visual projects, based on the collections held at Ryerson University.

Scholars and artists are directly approached by the Ryerson Image Centre, based on the suitability of their work to current and upcoming programmes.

2014 Ryerson Image Centre Fellowships

In 2014, the Ryerson Image Centre (RIC) will offer two (2) Research Fellowships, each of which includes a $3,000 travel stipend, as well as one (1) Dissertation Fellowship with a stipend of $1,500.

Each of the three Fellowships must be used for research based on the RIC’s Collection. Fellows will be expected to carry out their research at the RIC over a minimum of one (1) to a maximum of four (4) weeks, between January and December 2014.

Trudeau National Visiting Fellow, Ryerson University

Steven Loft’s Fellowship allows him to dedicate three years to multi-disciplinary research, writing and curatorial practice at the Ryerson Image Centre.

David Rokeby (November 2010 – January 2013)
Canada Council New Media Residency

David Rokeby’s residency integrates his unique skills and experience while taking advantage of the diverse opportunities in both the New Media option in the School of Image Arts and the Ryerson Image Centre.
