  • 2015 – the year of basketball for campus
Basketball is the name of the game at Ryerson in 2015. With the national men’s university basketball championships in March, and the Pan Am and Parapan Am Games set for next July and August, round ball will be in the national and global spotlight at Ryerson next year. On Monday the Mattamy Athletic Centre hosted the official launch of ticket sales for the Games. The MAC has been selected as the venue for men’s and women’s Pan Am and Parapan Am basketball events, including medal rounds and medal ceremonies. The Games will come on the heels of the Canadian men’s university basketball championships, hosted for the first time at Ryerson, March 12-15. As host, Ryerson Rams are guaranteed a spot in the tournament
