  • CGCE wins at Prix D'Excellence
    Ryerson took home two Prix D'Excellence awards from the Canadian Council for the Advancement of Education. The Communications, Government and Community Engagement (CGCE) department and Faculty of Science won gold in Best Community Outreach Initiative for the marketing campaign for Science Rendezvous 2015, spearheaded by the faculty and marketing officer Shirley Moore. Also from CGCE, acting manager of media relations Johanna VanderMaas won the silver medal in ​Best Issues/Crisis Management​ for hitchBOT's 2015 American Adventure. The Prix D'Excellence recognizes outstanding achievements in alumni affairs, public affairs, communications, marketing, and overall institutional advancement
