  • Sheldon Levy selected for mayor’s advisory council
    This week, Mayor-Elect John Tory asked President Sheldon Levy to be a member of his 19-person Transition Advisory Council made up of public, private and not-for-profit sector leaders. The council will advise the new mayor and his team on implementing some of the key commitments including those related to transportation and housing. This appointment recognizes President Levy and Ryerson’s leadership in city-building and providing positive solutions to challenging problems. The Transition Advisory Council will be chaired by former deputy mayor Case Ootes. The Mayor-Elect has also created a Transition Team that will provide advice on administrative and structural issues
