  • Crossing the stage
    Congratulations to the many graduates who will be accepting their degrees and certificates today and tomorrow at convocation. Leslie Nichols is one of them – the first student to graduate from the PhD policy studies program. She completed the program in a record three years, writing her thesis on diverse groups of unemployed women in Toronto and Halifax. Nichols will accept her degree Oct. 16 at 2:30 p.m. during the Faculty of Arts ceremony
