Students engineer amazing bridge

A bridge made of popsicle sticks and glue held nearly the equivalent weight of a Smart Car to win Ryerson's annual Civil Engineering Society Bridge Building Competition. Student teams had 50 hours to build a bridge out of dental floss, toothpicks, glue and popsicle sticks. The winning entry weighed just over 1 kg and held an astounding 687 kg. The team now heads to the national championships in Montreal.
