The Contest!

In a 500-word essay, tell us why you would like to be dean for a day and what plans you would make for the Faculty of Science.

The winner will be dean for a day and

• take part in meetings and events,
  
• invite 5 friends for lunch with Dean Imogen Coe in the dean’s boardroom, and
  
• enjoy a working breakfast with Dean Imogen Coe, following your day as dean, to discuss your observations and recommendations for students.

The Rules...

• Undergraduate students enrolled in a Faculty of Science program at Ryerson University are invited to enter the contest.
• All you have to do is submit the application form and a 500-word essay on why you would like to be dean for a day and what plans you would make for the Faculty of Science.
• Submissions will be reviewed by a selection committee made up of Dean Imogen R. Coe, Dr. Darrick Heyd, and Dr. Andrew Laursen.
• Submissions will become property of the Faculty of Science, Ryerson University.
• Submissions are due by 4 pm on October 11, 2013.
• The contest winner to be decided on November 4, 2013.
• The winner will be dean for a day in the winter semester 2014.
