Biology: the Science Of life that deals with understanding cellular organization, metabolism, growth, reproduction and heredity among living organisms.

Our Bachelor of Science in Biology has been designed to introduce you to the many aspects of Biology that deal with living organisms. You can choose to focus on Biology or combine your interest with other sciences such as chemistry, psychology, computer science, physics or mathematics and its applications. In addition, students can take an option in management science. These program variations can lead to many careers at the leading edge of science and technology or post-graduate education.

The first year science core curriculum focuses on the basic fundamentals of biology, chemistry, physics, computer science, and mathematics.  This foundation provides the necessary learning tools to pursue more in-depth studies in environmental biology, biochemistry and microbiology.  The program strongly emphasizes skills development, problem-solving and technological innovation, particularly in areas of molecular and environmental sciences.

Additional courses in liberal studies and communication broaden your cultural understanding and enhance your effectiveness in conveying scientific ideas to society.
