The Department of Computer Science offers a solid background in core areas, the option for co-op work, and the adaptable training that students need to embark on a career in this growing field. The energy of our students is evidenced in the class and in our clubs--where they get opportunities to meet with students and professionals from around the world. Our program is accredited by the Computer Science Accreditation Council of the Canadian Information Processing Society.
Research is a key priority in our department. Faculty members are engaged in many innovative projects--in web technology, artificial intelligence, urban search and rescue, and more.
