SRiO

The mission of the Science Research and Innovation Office (SRiO) is to provide strategic leadership, coordination and support that help promote research excellence and innovation for members of the Faculty of Science.

As part of this mission, SRiO facilitates researchers’ access to funds, resources, and information. The office is a dynamic interface between researchers, Ryerson University administrative units, funding agencies and industrial contacts. Moreover, we assist in promoting interdisciplinary research.

SRiO will help faculty promote their innovative research, explore the commercialization potential of their work and develop entrepreneurial activities. We help make connections and find relevant partners.

SRiO’s services give investigators more time to devote to research. Our administrative staff will keep on top of resources and deadlines, balance research accounts and expense reports,  coordinate and manage purchase orders and expense requisitions, and facilitate hiring and payroll for research personnel.
