Appointment of Academic Administrators (AAA):

Dean, Faculty of Engineering and Architectural Science (FEAS)

Nominations Open:     Monday, April 15, 2024  
Nominations Close:    Tuesday, April 23, 2024 at 3:00 p.m.

Committee Composition:

According to the AAA policy, the composition of the search committee for the Dean, FEAS is as follows:

• ­Four (4) tenured faculty members in the Faculty, with no more than one member from each Department/School, elected by and from faculty members, excluding Chairs/Directors
• One (1) Chair/Director elected by Chairs/Directors in the Faculty
• One (1) Dean or Vice-Provost selected by the Deans and Vice-Provosts
• One (1) career staff member in the Faculty elected by career staff

­The Provost and Vice-President, Academic serves as Chair and non-voting member of the committee, and will appoint two (2) additional members, one of whom shall be a graduate or undergraduate student.

Nomination Process:

The fully completed nomination form (external link)  must be submitted by the nominee using this Google form (external link)  between April 15 - April 23, 2024 at 3 p.m., 2024. Email submissions and/or nominations received after the deadline will be deemed invalid and will not be considered.

Election Process (if necessary):

Candidate profiles will be posted by Thursday, April 25th and the online election will run from Friday, April 26th at 10:00 a.m. to Thursday, May 2nd at 3:00 p.m.
