Salma Shaikh
Research Assistant

Salma is a recent graduate from the University of Western Ontario with an Honors B.Sc. degree in Biology. Her lifelong interest in science and music have lead her to pursue research in music cognition. In March 2012, she briefly worked as a research assistant at UWO working on the perception of music and rhythm in Parkinson’s patients. Currently, she is working as a research assistant at the SMART Lab. Salma’s research project in the lab is to assist with the studies being done on mood induction in music.
