Safety Policies
Together, the School of Social Work and the placement setting have a responsibility to orient the student to relevant safety issues and protocols. At the School, a safety orientation happens as a part of the Social Work Practice Seminar class. At the placement setting, it is expected that conversations about safety will be a part of the initial orientation conducted with all students at the start of their field placement.
