Among my recent undergraduate sociology courses are those in Sociology of Everyday Life, and Sociology of Gender. I also teach graduate courses in the MA Program in Immigration and Settlement Studies, and in the PhD Program on Policy Studies.

RESEARCH INTERESTS:

Immigrant Families; Gender; Youth; Social Policy

My research includes projects on immigrant youth and  intergenerational relations; family violence (intimate partner violence, child abuse, elder abuse) in immigrant communities; and immigrant women and English language proficiency. I am currently working on projects that address intersections between social policy and immigration policy.
