Transcripts

What is an official transcript?

Your official transcript is an official record of all the graded courses you have taken at Ryerson. All official transcripts will be complete and unabridged. Partial transcripts are not issued.

Students are eligible to receive transcripts of their academic results or, to have these results forwarded to third parties such as educational institutions and business organizations. Transcript requests must be made via RAMSS using the Request Official Transcript link, by completing a Transcript Request Form available at www.ryerson.ca/currentstudents/essr/transcripts/ or at Enrollment Services and Student Fees, POD-64.

An official transcript is different from your web report in that it is an official communication of your entire academic record with a Ryerson seal.

How do I request an official transcript?

Online: You may request and pay for an official transcript via RAMSS using the Request Official Transcript link. For faster service, this method is recommended.

In person, by mail, by fax: You can complete and submit a Transcript Request Form from our website at www.ryerson.ca/currentstudents/essr/transcripts or at Enrollment Services and Student Fees, POD-64 (fax number: 416.979.5236;

mailing address: Enrollment Services and Student Fees, 350 Victoria Street, Toronto, Ontario M5B 2K3

There is a fee for each transcript issued. No transcripts will be prepared without the required fee payment. Please verify the fee online at www.ryerson.ca/currrentstudents/essr/transcripts.

Your transcript will not be released if you have a financial or other obligation (e.g. have equipment, cage cards, library books, etc.) to the University and there is a withhold on your record (see Academic Matters: Grade Withholds).

Request an officially certified transcript at least two weeks before your deadline.

Give the complete mailing address where the transcript(s) should be sent. You can have the transcripts sent to yourself or a third party. Ryerson will fax transcripts for a fee, depending on where the transcript is going. The original transcript will be sent by mail.

If you pick up your transcript at POD-64, you will need to show proper identification before it will be given to you.

For complete details visit www.ryerson.ca/currentstudents/essr/transcripts

Unofficial Transcripts

Students can access their unofficial transcripts through RAMSS for a period of up to five years after the last date of attendance.
