The Ryerson Calendars

In addition to the Student Guide, Ryerson produces various calendars each year: one containing information on all full-time undergraduate programs, one for part-time undergraduate degree studies, a third is The G. Raymond Chang School of Continuing Education calendar, and a fourth is the Graduate Studies calendar. All Calendars are available on-line only. Be sure you use the appropriate calendar for your program of study.

The Undergraduate Full- and Part-Time Undergraduate Calendars can be found at www.ryerson.ca/undergraduate/calendars.

The G. Raymond Chang School of Continuing Education Calendar can be found at www.ryerson.ca/ce.

The Graduate Studies Calendar can be found at www.ryerson.ca/graduate.

All are official publications and are legal documents containing terms and conditions upon which students are accepted and enrolled.

The Calendars contain official policies and procedures regarding admission, enrollment procedures, examinations, academic standings, and community regulations, as approved by Senate and the Board of Governors.

The Student Guide, available in print as well as online at www.ryerson.ca/studentguide is a more user-friendly version of what appears in the undergraduate calendars, and attempts to explain complex policies and procedures. Because Ryerson calendars are legal documents, they take precedence over the Student Guide. In the event of any inconsistency, the online calendars will prevail.

What information will I find in the calendar?

In addition to academic policies and procedures, the calendar contains the following information:

The requirements for each program, presented in a yearly or semesterized format. The courses are listed as required, professionally related, and liberal studies.

To assist you with Course Intentions, the Courses (Course Descriptions) section of the calendar contains a complete list of courses. It includes information on course requisites, course content, hours, and course weight variations.

The calendar also contains information on services for students, student financial assistance, awards, and other services.

How do I get a calendar?

The online Undergraduate Calendar is now the only version and can be viewed at www.ryerson.ca/undergraduate/calendars.
