The following information outlines deadline dates for a wide range of things that you may need to do during the 2012-2013 academic year. While you can always do things on the deadline date, it is often quicker and easier to do things a bit earlier. It's always a good plan to do as much as you can well before the applicable deadline date. This will reduce the time you need to get things done while ensuring that you have time to spare if you encounter anything unexpected. ADMISSIONS DATES
Visit the Undergraduate Admissions and Recruitment Office, POD-144 for more information about applying to Ryerson. For re-admission, please visit Undergraduate Admissions www.ryerson.ca/undergraduate/admission/ Thursday November 1, 2012 Final date to submit an application for admission, re-admission or re-instatement into an undergraduate full- or part-time degree program for the Winter 2013 term (for guaranteed consideration). Friday February 1, 2013 Deadline to submit an application for admission, re-admission or re-instatement to a full- or part-time undergraduate degree program, or as a Special Student for the Spring/Summer 2012 and Fall 2012 terms (for guaranteed consideration).
OSAP FUNDING Visit the Student Financial Assistance Office (POD-59) for more information. Wednesday October 3, 2012 Final date to submit an OSAP application to be eligible to receive funding for the current September to April academic year. Thursday October 18, 2012 Applications received by the Ministry or Student Financial Assistance Office by this date will be eligible for OSAP funding for the entire academic year (September to April). Applications submitted after this date will be eligible to receive OSAP funding as of the date the application is received. Friday January 25, 2013 Final date to apply for OSAP or submit outstanding OSAP information for the current September to April academic year. Please note that funding assistance may be prorated based on when the application is received. Friday March 1, 2013 Complete OSAP appeals will be accepted for consideration for students enrolled in both Fall and Winter Terms or Winter Term only. DEADLINE TO PAY FEES Sign up with your bank to pay your tuition fees online or over the phone. Friday September 7, 2012 Final date for full payment of undergraduate tuition fees for the Fall 2012/Winter 2013 academic year. Students who choose to defer payment of all or part of their Winter 2013 undergraduate tuition fees, will be assessed a $70 (subject to change) deferral fee as of October 1, 2012. Late fees will be assessed on unpaid Fall 2012 undergraduate tuition fees as of September 8, 2012 and, on unpaid Winter 2013 undergraduate tuition fees as of January 10, 2013. Friday December 7, 2012 Deadline for clearing any Fall 2012 and prior outstanding debt, library book/fine, or other borrowed property in excess of $10 to ensure that Fall 2012 grades are not withheld. Week of June 17, 2013 Classes end for Spring/Summer undergraduate term classes that began in May (June 24 for Monday/Wednesday classes), and The Chang School Spring/Summer 2013 term, Spring session classes. Week of June 24, 2013 Classes commence for The Chang School for the Summer session, (Distance Education begins Saturday, June 22). Week of June 24, 2013 Classes commence for full- and part-time undergraduate programs.
