Ryerson's Digital Media Zone (DMZ) is an innovation incubator for turning ideas into reality. Located in the heart of the Ryerson campus overlooking Yonge-Dundas Square, the DMZ is open to every Ryerson student (graduate, undergraduate, full- and part-time), regardless of program or Faculty. All you need is a digitally-driven idea that is unique and has commercial or social value - and the plan to make it happen. Once inside, you're surrounded by other like-minded students, alumni and successful entrepreneurs to collaborate with, and mentor you while you turn your innovation into a market-ready product or service. The DMZ provides you with the necessary overhead which includes open, flexible workspace, equipment, utilities; and services such as business plan counselling, mentoring, workshops, networking and industry showcasing to help you launch your business.
