Access Centre for Students with Disabilities

What services are available to students with disabilities?

Advice and co-ordination of the provision of services and adaptations - both in academic areas and in the physical environment on campus is provided. Staff works in co-operation with departments to ensure students with disabilities receive the services they need. Services include:

accommodations for test and exams

texts in alternate formats

coordination of services for Sign Language Interpreting, Personal attendants and educational assistance

student Note Taking program

access to Adaptive Technology on campus and for tests and exams

Library computer lab and supports

Register early (before classes begin) to access a range of services and supports
