You must successfully complete all program requirements as prescribed by Senate in order to graduate with a degree or certificate.
You apply to graduate when you are enrolled in your final classes. For example, if you plan to graduate in June, you would apply to graduate right after you have enrolled in all of your Winter term classes. Application deadlines are strictly enforced. Consult the Significant Dates Table.

If you have applied and are eligible to graduate, you will be invited to attend Convocation. Convocation ceremonies are held in the Spring and Fall of each year. Complete details are found on the Convocation website.

Whether you plan on attending your graduation ceremony or not, you must apply to graduate. Certificates and degrees are conferred to you at your convocation ceremony. If you will not be attending in-person, you may obtain your award document/parchment after the ceremony by the following methods:
