Paper Partners

Meet with another Ryerson student who is trained to help with essay structure, clarification and style and talk your way through your essays and other writing assignments. Your partner will stop you at various points for clarification, correction, stylistic comments, and more. If you visit on a regular basis, you will find that your revising skills, as well as your speaking skills will improve.

New: Paper Partners On-Line via Skype: For students who are unable to make on-campus appointments, a limited number of appointments are now offered on-line via Skype. Click here for more information.

Most regular Paper Partner appointments (i.e. on-campus) can be offered via Skype - let us know in advance (els@ryerson.ca) and you will receive a confirmation.

Please note: Regular ELS appointments will begin in late May, 2013.
If you need an appointment before this, please email els@ryerson.ca with the date(s) and time(s) of your appointment request - we will confirm by email.

SUMMER 2013: (late May ~ mid August, 2013)

Location: VIC- B9 (Lower Level of the Victoria Building) & via Skype
Appointments are 50 minutes in length (start at 10 minutes past the hour)
There is a limit of 2 appointments per student per week - this allows more people to participate.
Drop-ins are welcome, although there is no guarantee that you will be seen.

Please Note: Appointments can be made online up to 12 hours before & in order to avoid penalty, appointments must be cancelled at least 24 hours before the appointment time.
