Conversation Partners

Spend time (one-on-one) with a member of the ELS student staff.

  • Build your vocabulary & fluency through structured activities.
  • Improve your pronunciation, listening and reading skills
  • Practice an upcoming class presentation.
  • Improve your listening skills and gain confidence in your oral English by engaging in a spontaneous conversation.
  • Discuss language that would be appropriate in different situations.
  • Ask questions about expressions that you have heard on campus.
  • Ask about phrasal verbs, conditionals, and other "tricky" grammar points.

Spring & Summer 2012:

  • Appointments are 50 minutes in length (start at 10 minutes past the hour)
  • Location: Room VIC-B9 (Lower Level of the Victoria Building)
  • There is a 2 appointment per week limit, although drop-ins are welcome.
  • Two appointments cannot be booked on the same day.

    Appointments can be made online up to 12 hours before & cancelled up to 24 hours before the appointment time.
