Script:

A group of students is sitting in one of the student lounges

Student 1: It's gonna be another boring weekend...

Student 2: ... studying all day is such a drag....

Kat: We should all go somewhere. Where could we go...?

Student 2: How about the museum? I haven't been there in ages...

Student 1: Ohhh, the ROM has a discount on Friday nights - it's only $5 admission. There's tonnes to see... and it's a great place to take a date... Hey, what about going to that pub on campus? Rye in the Ram... what's it called?

Student 2: Ohhh you mean, Ram in the Rye!

Kat: What's a pub?

Student 1: Kat, it's like a bar. It's a place to hang out with your friends and have fun.

Kat: Oh I see, a bar yes. So where else can we find entertainment?

Student 1: Well, we can go to a movie theatre on Richmond Street and then have dinner at one of the nice little restaurants on Queen Street West, it won't be as expensive as Yorkville...

Somebody gives them a flyer

Kat: Oh, what is it? (looking at the night club flyer).

Student 1: That's just a flyer; you'll get lots of them on campus.

Student 2: So, what about going clubbing this Friday?

Kat & others: Sounds like a great idea, yea let's do it, cool.

Kat: Oh no!! I don't have a dress, except the one I wore in Grade 9 with pink flowers on it....

Student 1: What are you talking about, why would you need a dress for Friday?

Kat: Well it says "dress code enforced, cover 10 bucks before 12..."

Student 1: Oh, "dress code" means that you should not wear runners and should come nicely dressed, but not something formal... nice jeans, a T-shirt and comfortable shoes are all you need. Cover means you would have to pay a $10 fee to enter a club before midnight; otherwise you may have to pay more. In most clubs ladies don't have to pay a cover charge if they come before 10 pm.

Student 2: And don't forget to take your photo ID with you - in Canada, "kids" under 19 are not
allowed to drink and ... may not be allowed to enter a night club...

Kat: Thanks for your advice guys, what would I do without you?
