About Us

Ryerson’s Health Promotion Department is a group of peer health promoters dedicated to promoting health and well-being on the university campus, with a focus on mental health, smoking cessation, fitness and nutrition, substance safety, and sexual health. The department can provide information, awareness, resources and referrals to community agencies. They also organize displays, workshops and other interactive activities on campus and in residence throughout the year.

The department is headed by the Health Promoter, Juannittah Kamera. The Health Promotion Office is located at POD-448. We also provide job and volunteer opportunities for students who are interested in health and wellness. Contact the Health Promoter for more info!
